Blocks of Explosive Dismemberment is a two player game that’s as bloody and sadistic as it is asymmetrical. In terms of genre, think of it as arcade-puzzle/snuff.
It’s a game that asks important questions like, “What if you got sucked into a possessed arcade puzzle game?”
What if you could peer out of the screen and see a player tormenting you by playing the game and crushing you to death over and over again with the pieces of the puzzle as you leaped around, strategically smashed the blocks, and collected power-ups in a desperate attempt at survival?
And what if your personal tormentor was actually just that buddy that you always play games with online? And what if after the pieces of the puzzle reached the top of the screen, YOU became the jerk controlling the blocks, and smashed your friend to bloody bits as you played the puzzle? Blocks of Explosive Dismemberment will provide the answers to these pressing questions.
Choose the avatar you’d most like to see in mortal terror (hipsters, pop stars, etc…), choose your preferred soundtrack (metal, dark ambient, possessed-arcade-cabinet-sound-chip-music), then find a victim online (unless you’re the victim, of which there is a fifty percent chance).
Look out world, Blocks of Explosive Dismemberment will be exploding onto PC, Mac, and Linux as soon as we here at Barbaric Softworks feel like it’s gibs are ripe to be strewn across the lands.
